Korlappii shells were a type of shell that could be found on the Outer Rim planet Akiva in the waters of the world's Farsigo Bay. When the shells were held up to the sun's light, they gleamed and gave off a rainbow's worth of colors. During the Imperial Era, the Wexley family collected korlappii shells while visiting Farsigo Bay on vacations.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] the junk dealer Temmin Wexley thought about the times his parents—the Akivans Norra and Brentin Wexley—had traveled to the bay's waters and gathered the shells.[1]

Korlappii shells were mentioned in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
