An office located on the Smuggler's Moon Nar Shaddaa was used by[1] the former University of Bar'leth[2] sava Korin Pers.[1] Between around 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[3] the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as the criminal Phaedra, traveled to the office to speak with Pers about an object they had discovered in an urn that they had been informed contained the ashes[1] of Krestrel D'Naran, the archrival of Jabba Desilijic Tiure.[4] Pers informed the trio of what the object was, the neural core of the droid Ajax Sigma, who had attempted to bring freedom to droids across the galaxy centuries prior. Before Solo could decide whether he wanted to carry on with his job from Jabba or providing him with the urn, the crew of Khel Tanna arrived at the office in search of the urn themselves, and fired on Solo, Chewbacca, and Phaedra, though the trio were able to escape from Pers' office.[1]

In 0 ABY,[5] the smuggler Lando Calrissian visited the office with his friend Lobot to recruit Pers for an upcoming job he was to undertake for Papa Toren. Pers initially dismissed the offer, as she had lost an eye during a previous job with Calrissian, though she changed her mind after Calrissian gave her a datapad that detailed what the job was.[2]
