Knurled Highlands

The Knurled Highlands was a region of Iope,^[1] a moon of the planet Rinn,^[2] that featured a high density of berry shrubs. By the time of the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and reconstituted Sith Empire, the shrubs' existence was the only remaining indicator that the Highlands had at one point supported settlements.^[1]

This section of the article assumes 100% game completion of Star Wars: The Old Republic. Any alternate stories may be noted in the "Behind the scenes" section. The events in this section may or may not have been confirmed as canon within the Star Wars Legends continuity.

Around 3637 BBY,^[3] an individual affiliated with one of the two warring sides sent a companion of theirs to investigate the possibility of other evidence pointing to settlement in the Knurled Highlands.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Knurled Highlands were mentioned in the Crew Skill mission "Iopean Harvest," released as part of the 2014 Shadow of Revan Digital Expansion to the 2011 BioWare video game, Star Wars: The Old Republic.^[1]
