Knights were warriors in the culture of several species, including the Serp of the planet Serphidi[1] and the Anointed People of the planet Abonshee.[2] In the Serp culture, knights were full-fledged warriors. Before becoming a knight, a Serp had to serve as an apprentice warrior known as a squire for a time.[1]
