A Jedi Master served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic as a Jedi General during the Clone Wars between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems.[2] In 19 BBY,[1] the Jedi Master was fighting in the conflict alongside their Padawan, the Chalactan Klossi Anno. When Contingency Order 66—an order to kill the Jedi—was initiated, the Republic's clone troopers turned on their Jedi Generals, considering them traitors to the Republic. The Master was killed by the clones, though their sacrifice allowed Anno to escape. Anno later met with other fugitive Jedi—including the Jedi Master Roan Shryne—to whom she gave her Jedi Master's lightsaber.[2]
