The Klepthia system was located within the Tynna sector,[1] a part of the Trailing Sectors portion of[2] the Expansion Region.[1] It was the origin point of the species known as Klepthian rock otters.[4][5]
Behind the scenes
The Klepthia system was introduced in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas, authored by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry, which placed the system in grid square N-14.[3]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas, stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. This article treats the Klepthia system as the location of one such homeworld with regard to the Klepthian rock otter species.
