The King of Aleen was a largely ceremonial position of the Aleena monarchy that governed the planet Aleen.[1] The Aleena Manchucho held this position during the Clone Wars.[2]

When the Galactic Republic lended assistance to the groundquake-struck Aleen, King Manchucho represented the Aleena population to the Republic forces sent to the world. Later, having heard that the droids C-3PO and R2-D2 fell through[2] the Great Seal ruins[1] into[2] the Aleen Underworld,[1] Manchucho led his followers into a ceremonial chant before the site, attempting to settle the imbalance between the worlds of the surface and the subsurface.[3]
