Kin Shiff was an individual that resided on the Outer Rim Territories planet Akiva during the reign of the Galactic Empire.[2] By 3 ABY,[1] he had become a member of the Myrran Swimmer's Club, a club in Akiva's capital city Myrra. Following Shiff's untimely death, the club sent out a notice about his death to its members. In the same message, the club announced a new no–go zone for training in the western edge of the Great Basin region of Akiva due to an increase in activity by the Hutt Cartel crime syndicate. The notice stressed that the death of Shiff was not related to the Hutt activity. A copy of the Myrran Swimmer's Club notice was stored on a datapad in the Hutt Cartel District of Myrra[2] in 3 ABY.[1]
