Kian'thar was the native language of the Kian'thar species from Shaum Hii. Most Kian'thar were fluent in both Kian'thar and Basic, although only literate in their own language.[1]
Kian'thar used mainly croaks, honks and watery bubbling sounds. Its written form used short phrases and a simple alphabet.[1]
