- "Great. Go find my friend Ki'shai and get the package. Make the delivery back to me and you'll get paid."
- ―Kavas Urdano, to a spacer
Ki'shai was a friend of Kavas Urdano who lived on the planet Tatooine during the time of the Galactic Civil War. After the Battle of Yavin, he was a member of a Lady Valarian's criminal syndicate.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] a spacer working for Lady Valarian's lieutenant Kavas Urdano collected a camera from Ki'shai and bring it back to Urdano at the Lucky Despot in Mos Eisley.[1]
Behind the scenes
Every possible depiction of Ki'shai
Ki'shai was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Ki'shai was present in the original release of the game, being part of Lady Valarian's Quest Series.[1]
Because Ki'shai spawned under the generic "valarian_assassin" template, Ki'shai's appearance was randomized under one of thirty-five possible depictions. Species Ki'shai could appear as included Aqualish, Bith, Bothans, Humans, Rodians, Trandoshans, Twi'leks, and Zabrak under either gender. Because the quest dialogue made no mention of Ki'shai's physical characteristics, the canonical gender and species cannot be definitively determined in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[1]
With the release of the "Publish 23" on August 31, 2005, Lady Valarian's Quest Series was deactivated and Ki'shai was consequently removed from the game.[4]

Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided — Static Quest: "Kavas Urdano" on Tatooine
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
