Kestro City,[3] also known simply as Kestro, was the capital city of the planet Vardos.[1] A skirmish erupted between members of Inferno Squad that defected from the Galactic Empire when the city, along with the planet, was targeted by climate disruption arrays from Operation: Cinder. By 34 ABY, the city was left uninhabited except for active combatants aiming to take control of the city, including stormtroopers of the First Order.[2]
