The Kessilian hair knot was a hair style sported only in the Kessil system. Annikin Starkiller had one when he arrived on Aquilae.

Behind the scenes

It is probable that this is the conceptual origin of the Padawan braid in Episode I and Episode II, worn by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker.
