Kerig'En was a celestial body in the Kerig'En system,[2] a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Brema sector.[1] Alara Fax, a Human who was an entrepreneur as well as a former SoroSuub Business Academy attendee and criminal and who was thirty-six years old by some point during the Galactic Civil War between the New Republic and the Galactic Empire, hailed from Kerig'En.[2]
Behind the scenes
Kerig'En was introduced in "Adversaries: Characters for the Star Wars: New Republic Campaign," a roleplaying game source article authored by Bill Slavicsek for use with West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game and published in the ninety-seventh issue of the Polyhedron magazine in July 1994.[2] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Kerig'En system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square M-17.[3]
