Ken Hutchison, sometimes credited as Ken Hutchinson was an actor[1] who was originally meant to play the part of Imperial officer Daine Jir in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, though he was eventually replaced by Al Lampert due to his beard, which George Lucas disapproved of.[2]
