Ken Hiller (October 18, 1938 — July 13, 2016)[2] was a voice artist for radio and television. He narrated the opening crawl, outro, and end credits for all episodes of the Star Wars radio dramas: Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi - 29 episodes in all.[3] He also was the narrator of the audio dramas Dark Forces: Soldier for the Empire, Dark Forces: Rebel Agent and Dark Forces: Jedi Knight.[4]
Hiller first entered broadcasting in Hawaii but spent most of his career in St Paul, Minnesota, an important center for public radio in the United States. Besides his narration for Star Wars audio dramas, he hosted radio programs, recorded commercials, and did other voiceover work.[2]
