"Up next, Keeping up with the Calrissians."
―Gial Ackbar[1]

Keeping up with the Calrissians was a holotelevision show revolving around the Calrissian family. Its logo displayed the show's title in the High Galactic alphabet alongside two palm trees. At some point during the Clone Wars[1] between 22 BBY to 19 BBY,[2] a young Han Solo—who was posing as the Padawan "Ian"—interrupted a hologram call between Jedi Grand Master Yoda and the Jedi High Council, switching it between several holotelevision channels. After it switched to the show Ackbar Tonight, its host Gial Ackbar introduced Keeping up with the Calrissians via its logo as the show following his own.[1]

Behind the scenes

The logo of Keeping up with the Calrissians appeared in the LEGO special LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace,[1] which premiered on July 22, 2011.[3] Its name is similar to the real-life reality television series Keeping Up with the Kardashians.[4]
