Kaya Natari was an employee of Czerka Corporation. The corporation sent Natari to investigate the possibility of using "Archaeological site 75-D", Czerka's name for the abandoned Dantooine Jedi Enclave, for future Czerka Corporation endeavors. Upon entering the ruins, Natari was immediately attacked by beasts, but Natari's security team, endorsed by Keldran, was able to deal with the creatures. In a field journal, Natari recorded that the old site was of no use for Czerka, either monetary or martial.[3]
Biography
Kaya trained in the Institute of Cultural Studies on Onderon, and was even nominated for Aryss Medal of Outstanding Scholarly Contribution for her study of the ancient Beast Riders' offensives against the city of Iziz. However, she was rejected from further consideration when the judgment committee discovered she had used unapproved and intrusive field methods for data collection. Despite this setback, Natari graduated with distinction and began postdoctoral work on Ziost. She became embroiled in further scandal when samples from her project were found among items in a black market auction on Hutta.[2]
Later in her career Natari has accepted contracts with the Corellian Engineering Corporation, Drakon Industries, and Czerka Interstellar.[3] In 3626 BBY, Czerka sent Natari to investigate the possibility of using "Archaeological site 75-D", Czerka's name for the abandoned Dantooine Jedi Enclave, for future Czerka Corporation endeavors. Upon entering the ruins, Natari was immediately attacked by beasts, but Natari's security team, endorsed by Keldran, was able to deal with the creatures. In a field journal, Natari recorded that the old site was of no use for Czerka, either monetary or martial.[2]
Around 3624 BBY,[4] Natari and a team of mercenaries were tasked with stealing a relic documenting the Jedi involvement in Voss culture from the Shrine of Contemplation on Voss. She was stopped by a member of the Shrine Restoration Initiative and did not succeed.[5]
