A Jedi outpost of the Jedi Order was located on[1] the Mid Rim planet[2] Kashyyyk during the High Republic Era. The outpost was built as a giant tree house, following the principle of Jedi outposts being designed to blend in with their worlds' environments and culture.[1] In 232 BBY,[3] Jedi Padawan Bell Zettifar, stationed at the Elphrona Outpost on the Outer Rim planet Elphrona, thought about the Kashyyyk outpost and mentally compared it to his own posting.[1]

The Jedi outpost on Kashyyyk was mentioned in Light of the Jedi, a 2021 novel written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[4]
