In 3 ABY[2] the mercenary Rooster Trace compared the spin of a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon's rotor to a wild Kardadillo while instructing the thief Kay Vess to use the blaster cannon.[1]

Kardadillo were mentioned in "The Mercenary" expert quest in the 2024 video game, Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft.[1]
