Doctor Kaldaar was a scientist of the Galactic Empire who lived during the Galactic Civil War. By the time of the Battle of Yavin, Kaldaar conducted experiments directly on living sentient individuals, such as Rebel prisoners. Most of them did not survived those experiments.[1]
