A Sith[1] stormtrooper commander was the grandparent of Kako, a human female who hated the dark side of the Force[2] and killed Tata, the leader of the dark side cult Ankok.[1]

Behind the scenes

Kako's grandparent was mentioned in the non-canon one-shot comic Visions – Peach Momoko 1, written and illustrated by Peach Momoko,[1] and published by Marvel Comics on November 15, 2023.[3] Before the comic's release, they were mentioned in a video uploaded to the official Star Wars YouTube channel on August 17 of that year.[2]
