Kada'sa'Niktoese was the native language of the Kadas'sa'Nikto Neeku Vozo.[1] In 34 ABY,[2] the human First Order pilot[3] Tamara Ryvora transmitted a message to[1] her former colleague[3] Kazuda Xiono's comlink in Kadas'sa'Niktoese.[1]
Behind the scenes
- "In the first draft of the script, Tam sends her secret message in Neeku's native language, but this was changed to a custom code she created with Neeku."
- ―Bucket's List
Kadas'sa'Niktoese was created for the first part of "The Escape,"[1] the final episode of the second season of the animated television series Star Wars Resistance, which aired on January 26, 2020.[5] The language was included in the first draft of the episode's script, but was eventually replaced by a mechanic's code that she and Vozo had developed to help make the interaction feel more personal and private. Kadas'sa'Niktoese was mentioned in "The Escape"'s corresponding Bucket's List Extra article, which was posted on StarWars.com on January 27, 2020.[1] The language was also included in the article's accompanying YouTube video.[4]
