The KD81 Cargo Skiff is a derivative freighter landspeeder used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems.

Characteristics

The KD81 skiff is a Confederacy of Independent Systems transport landspeeder based off larger freighters. It features side-mounted impact protection palnels, a tow bar, and a single forward-mounted blaster cannon. It can reach speeds of 400 k/h with a low center of gravity and a long, flat base. It mounts two cargo cylinders. The skiff is piloted by one droid.

History

A BX-series droid commando used one during Battle for the Stolen Crystals to escape from Commander Gree with the stolen lightsaber crystals.

The KD81 appears in the 2013 comic/LEGO set LEGO Star Wars Brickmaster: Battle for the Stolen Crystals.
