K2-8 was a probe droid active in the aftermath of the war against Zakuul. In 3630 BBY it was brought to Iokath, where it provided assistance during the the War on Iokath, a conflict between the three major superpowers in the Galaxy: the Galactic Republic, the reconstituted Sith Empire, and the Eternal Alliance.[1]
