The K-57B engine system was a type of starship engine produced by the Czerka Corporation during the the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. The system utilized an array of high-powered maneuvering thrusters, permitting starships to perform the newly-devised Koiogran turn maneuver—a tactic that spun the ship 180 degrees to face pursuers and yet maintained the ship's speed.
