Jurgen's bandits was a minor group of bandits active on Naboo's moon of Rori during the Galactic Civil War. The bandits were led by Jurgen Nath, a criminal involved in the kidnapping and murder of Felicia, the daughter of Wernell Covington, years before the Battle of Yavin. In 1 ABY,[2] the Narmle Militia was able to provide the last knownlocation of Nath to Wernell Covington and the latter dispatched a spacer to Jurgen Nath's Hideout. The spacer fought and eliminated several bandits during the attack. Covington's henchman eventually killed Jurgen Nath in the depths of the bunker, avenging the murder of Felicia Covington.[1]

Behind the scenes

Jurgen's bandits appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[3] Jurgen's bandits was added to the game with the release of the "Game Update 12," on August 10, 2009.[4]

Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
