Juggernaut Nine was a juggernaut which served the Empire of the Hand coalition.[1] In 8 ABY,[2] it participated in a battle alongside several other juggernauts against the forces of the alien warlord Nuso Esva and the Quesoth species on the[1] Unknown Regions[3] planet Quethold's Red City. While traversing the Setting Sun Avenue, the vehicle was slowed down by Quesoth Soldiers and Esva's warriors, the Chosen. Shortly after, Imperial General Tasse compared Juggernaut Nine's condition to Juggernaut One's, which if hit once more would be in the same condition as Nine[1]
Soon after, the Chosen and Soldiers infiltrated the juggernauts present in an attempt to capture them and their weaponry to attack the nearby White City; however, they discovered that the juggernauts, including Juggernaut Nine, carried no weapons and were crewed by droids.[1]
Behind the scenes
Juggernaut Nine appeared in the novella Crisis of Faith, written by Timothy Zahn and published in 2011 as part of the 20th Anniversary Edition of the 1991 novel Heir to the Empire.[1]
