The Journal of Personality and Galactic Psychology was a publication that at one point featured research studies on the sentient Balosar species. The studies did not indicate any innate or genetic pathologies unique to the Balosars that would lend support to the stereotyping of members of the species as being spineless, weak-willed, and selfish. Instead, those traits emerged due to the condition of the society on the Balosar's crime- and pollution-riddled homeworld, Balosar. At some point no earlier than 36 ABY, the studies published in the publication were mentioned in a guide to various species of the galaxy that was based on the research notes of sentientologist Mammon Hoole.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Journal of Personality and Galactic Psychology was mentioned in the 2006 book The New Essential Guide to Alien Species by Ann Margaret Lewis and Helen Keier.[1]
