Josta flower extract was a substance that could be ingested to cause sleep. The cook at the royal palace of Hynestia kept josta flower extract due to having trouble sleeping. Princess Rinetta Gan placed several drops of the extract into the soup consumed by the Hynestian Royal Guard Wyllys so that she could escape the palace.^[1]
