Joral San Tekka was a member of the San Tekka clan during the High Republic Era who was related to the hyperspace savant Mari San Tekka. He was also known to the Nihil pirate Nan and the scientist Chancey Yarrow.[1] In 231 BBY,[2] after Nan informed Yarrow that her job aboard the space station Gravity's Heart was to safeguard an elderly woman she knew as "the Oracle," the scientist informed her that the woman was in fact Mari San Tekka. In response, Nan questioned if Mari was related to Joral San Tekka, which Yarrow confirmed she was, though admitted she was not certain of the two's exact relation.[1]

Behind the scenes

Joral San Tekka was mentioned in the 2021 young-adult novel The High Republic: Out of the Shadows, written by Justina Ireland and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase I.[3]
