Jonram Dremel was a Thradian who served as a pest controller for the Galactic Empire.[2] Between 14 BBY and 9 BBY,[1] Dremel boarded the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station in the Geonosis system to hunt the Dianoga Omi. To assist him in this endeavor, Commander Barkle provided Dremel four prisoners detained in stun collars. Dremel's skills aided the team after the death of J'Rea in tracking their quarry, and in realizing the cause of death of a dianoga hatchling.
When one of the prisoners, Geratt, attempted to flee, Dremel activated their stun collar, inadvertently causing the human to fall prey to a swam of hive-mind beetles which combined into a fearsome monster. In retaliation, a prisoner by the name of Saan kicked Dremel into the maw of the beast, killing him.[2]
