Jonathan Hsu is a mechanical design engineer who served as a senior mechanical engineer on Star Wars: Jedi Challenges, working alongside director of product management, Seth Davis, as well as tech developer/distributor Lenovo, to develop the lightsaber controller used for the game.[2] Hsu began as a mechanical design engineer with Disney Consumer Products and Interactive in August 2014, being promoted to senior mechanical design engineer with Walt Disney Imagineering's Advanced Development Lab in November 2015, where he worked on Jedi Challenges. As of January 2019, he is no longer employed by Disney, serving as a mechanical engineer with Anduril Industries.[1]
