JoKo's Alley was a riotous business[3] strip located in the Underlevels of Coruscant, near Dometown. One of the businesses in JoKo's Alley was the Leafy Green tapcaf. The strip was newly constructed[2] by 26 ABY.[1]
That year, the Chadra-Fan Jedi Tekli visited JoKo's Alley to meet with a friend. During the outing, she overheard two Rodians discussing an employee of the Leafy Green whom they did not believe was truly Human. Suspecting the individual may be a Yuuzhan Vong disguised as Human using an ooglith masquer, Tekli reported the conversation she heard during a meeting of the Jedi Order. The Jedi Master Mara Jade Skywalker and her nephew Anakin Solo visited the Leafy Green in JoKo's Alley to investigate and confront the suspected Yuuzhan Vong spy, hoping to capture the individual for intelligence.[2]
Behind the scenes
JoKo's Alley first appeared in the 2000 novel The New Jedi Order: Balance Point, written by Kathy Tyers.[2] In the 2008 reference book The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, JoKo's Alley was erroneously written as Jo'Ko's Alley in the entry for the Leafy Green.[4]
