Jirvin was a male Quesoth Midli who lived on the planet Quethold during the time of the New Republic. Jirvin was the brother of Trevik and he worked as the overseer of a group of Quesoth Workers that serviced lighting equipment in the Red City. In 8 ABY, at the behest of the alien warlord Nuso Esva, Jirvin manipulated Trevik into acting as a spy for Esva's rival Grand Admiral Thrawn, as part of a plot by Esva to attempt to deceive Thrawn.
