The Jin'ri trade syndicate was a group of war profiteers formed after the fall of Duro to meet the demands of the refugees.
They sent Opeli Mors as their representative to a Yuuzhan Vong resistance meeting at Shelter station, offering their services in supplying troops and ships for a price. As an act of good faith and investment, a ship was loaned to the resistance with no charge.
