- ―Jimke Weet
Jimke Weet was a male renowned kloo horn soloist and the father of Salak Weet. When Salak went missing[1] in 26 BBY[2] during the first voyage of him and his friend, Noa Briqualon, Jimke funded a massive four-year-long rescue search for the pair, in which they spent nearly every credit they owned, in an attempt to find them. The last known responder signal from Salak and Noa's ship had been near the Monsua Nebula, an area of the galaxy known for pirate activity. The search was eventually called off[1] in 22 BBY,[2] however, following Jimke's filing for bankruptcy. Following the end of the search, Jimke expressed hope of Salak's survival in a quote from the CoCo District Edition of the HoloNet News, published on the date 13:3:28.[1] At some point, Weet made an album of anti-war music with the musician Orin Mersai and the duo Kang and Lubrichs.[3]
