- "Ma'w'shiye and I have been training Rebel recruits in the use of high-powered blasters, but one thing that never ceases to amaze me is Barosa's simple slugthrower. That thing sounds like a Jexerian cannon when its fired."
- ―Derembus Sitnalta, in a Rebel Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex file on Barosa Warren
The Jexerian cannon was a primitive projectile cannon that emitted a notably loud noise when fired.[1] It originated in[3] the Jexeria system of the Outer Rim Territories' Tharin sector.[4] At some point by 2 ABY,[5] in a personal addendum to a Rebel Alliance Task Force on Alliance Security SecuriDex datafile on Barosa Warren, a former Morellian Enforcer and head of the Galactic Outdoor Survival School, the Human Derembus Sitnalta, an Alliance soldier and a graduate of the Galactic Outdoor Survival School, compared the report made by Warren's .48-caliber Enforcer pistol when fired to that of a Jexerian cannon.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Jexerian cannon was first mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[2]

Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for the Jexerian cannon in relation to the Jexeria system.
