Jesse J. Holland (b. June 28,[1] 1971[2]), hailing from Holly Springs, Mississippi, is the author of The Force Awakens: Finn's Story. Holland is also the author of the nonfiction exposé The Invisibles: The Untold Story of African American Slavery Inside The White House, as well as Black Men Built The Capitol: Discovering African American History In and Around Washington, D.C. Holland is also a race and ethnicity writer for the Associated Press and is a former White House, Supreme Court and Congressional reporter.[3]
