Jerga Dronus was a pirate who lived during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Circa 1 ABY, Dronus boarded an Imperial space station in an attempt to secure an important spacer from Imperial custody.[1]

Jerga Dronus was a non-player character in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.[2]

Dronus was added to the game when the developers revamped the "New Player Tutorial" with the release of the "Publish 17," on May 26, 2005.[3] During the tutorial, new players were tasked with killing Dronus to help them get accustomed to the game mechanics. Because Dronus spawned under the "desert_thug_newbie" template, the character's appearance was randomized.[1] However, Dronus was removed alongside with this tutorial when the developers introduced a completely new tutorial with the release of the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.[3]
