Jems was a male engineer aboard the New Republic cruiser Lodestar. While working aboard the Lodestar, Jems was reassembling a centuries-old protocol droid as a hobby. Nath Tensent greeted Jems as he made final checks on his Y-wing, asking about the protocol droid.[1]
