Jellion Broon was a famous male holovid actor in the decades before the rise of the Galactic Empire. While in Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine as part of a race story he was acting in, Broon became obsessed with the planet's deserts and wandered off to explore the Jundland Wastes. Six months later Broon reappeared, though the twin suns of Tatooine and the wind left him looking weathered and old, with his own agent no longer recognizing him and his former studio employer not wanting to deal with him.[1]
Annileen Calwell would later use the story of Broon as an example to Obi-Wan Kenobi about the importance of keeping his hood on when working under the twin suns of Tatooine.[1]
