Jedi scout was a title used by the Jedi Order to describe members of the Exploration Corps who specialized in traversing the galaxy to find new worlds and bring them into the fold of the Galactic Republic.
Overview
During the Mandalorian Wars, Jedi scouts (particularly those who opposed the Jedi High Council's decision to remain neutral during the conflict) covertly made their way to the front lines to assist the Galactic Republic military. During the New Sith Wars, with the Republic abandoning much of the Outer Rim, Jedi scouts were no longer identifying potential students in those regions. In the later stages of war, scouts sought Force-sensitives to recruit into the Army of Light before the Sith could discover their location. Torr Snapit was among their ranks.[1] [4]
