Long before the Galactic Civil War, a treaty was signed to end the Entruvia Conflict that opposed the Jedi Order and its dissident branch, the Ordu Aspectu. The agreement allowed the Ordu to continue their controversial research on immortality in their citadel, while at the same time giving the Jedi a right of inspection. The Ordu, however, seemed to end up violating the treaty during one such inspection, when Rur seemingly took control of the citadel's droids and started killing everyone inside, visiting Jedi and Ordu members alike. In truth, it was not Rur, but his AI copy Eternal Rur.[1]
