Jean Bolte is an American[2] visual effects artist and former employee of Industrial Light & Magic who served in various roles over her long career with the company from 1987 to 2023.[4] For Star Wars, she was most notably the supervisor of the Viewpaint technology during the productions of the prequel trilogy films Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace[3] and Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones.[5] She later worked on the Disney+ television series Star Wars: The Book of Boba Fett, her final large-scale project with ILM.[6] Bolte was interviewed for Season 1 of the Disney+ documentary series Light & Magic and returned for Season 2.[7]
