Janzor

Janzor served the Galactic Empire^[1] as an Imperial Navy officer.^[2] He was in command of a platoon of two hundred stormtroopers sent by Moff Wilhuff Tarkin to Kashyyyk, just prior to its Imperial occupation. Unlike those under his command, Janzor was aware that their platoon was only a distraction while Central Command landed a much larger army elsewhere.^[1]

While briefing his men before the mission, Janzor underestimated the Wookiees, whom he described as primitive and possibly descended from banthas. This was a fatal error and led to his death, along with those of all but two of his soldiers.^[1]
