Jam Javat was a male individual who carried the rank of captain and was an original member of the Pop-Dogs. After the Yuuzhan Vong War, Javat purchased property on Vandor-3 and converted it into the Javat Caridan Environment, a preserve for wildlife from Carida following the planet's destruction. A few years prior to 44 ABY, Javat retired as a major and moved out of the Coruscant system, leaving the preserve under the operation of a trust.[1]
