Jalis was a male agent of Imperial Intelligence who was sent to investigate rumors of traitors among the guards in the Shadow Town prison district on the moon Nar Shaddaa. However, the traitors discovered and killed Jalis, prompting the Imperial informant Chiiv to ask Imperial-aligned spacers to locate and kill the traitors.
