JTR-47

JTR-47 was a training droid used in the Jedi Temple to help young Jedi hone their skills. Prior to the Battle of Naboo, JTR-47 had a hand in helping Obi-Wan Kenobi through the course, instructing him on how to use the Force to jump, Force push, and throw and fight with his lightsaber, among other abilities such as how to disarm a blaster-wielding opponent.

Behind the scenes

In Star Wars: Obi-Wan, every droid in the training course is named JTR-47. This article assumes that only the initial droid that introduces themself to Obi-Wan Kenobi is JTR-47.^[2]
