The JD series first appeared in an exclusive pin set merchandise alongside the SK series[2] sold at the immersive Star Wars hotel Galactic Starcruiser,[1] which opened to public on 2022.[3] The droid model itself was nowhere to be seen throughout the hotel.[1]
