A starship was used by Lord Izuma's raiders[1] sometime between 19 BBY and 1 BBY.[2] The vessel was an XS stock light freighter that the raiders used to transport and control reprogrammed B1-series battle droids with the intent of capturing and controlling Meevai Village on the planet Keelia. It was later destroyed by Valco during the liberation of Meevai Village.[1]
Behind the scenes
Izuma's starship first appeared in "The Village Bride," a non-canon short film directed by Hitoshi Haga, written by Haga and Takahito Oonishi, and released as part of the first volume of the Star Wars: Visions series. The animated short, produced by Kinema Citrus, was released on Disney+[1] on September 22, 2021.[3] The XS stock light freighter was originally designed by Clint Young for[4] the 2011 BioWare video game[5] Star Wars: The Old Republic. In an interview, Young said he was happy to see a ship he had designed appear while watching the series.[4]

『スター・ウォーズ:ビジョンズ』監督インタビュー!キネマシトラス垪和等監督『村の花嫁』 (Japanese) on IGN Japan (September 29, 2021) (backup link archived on March 22, 2025) establishes that "The Village Bride" takes place between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. Star Wars: Timelines dates the events of Revenge of the Sith to 19 BBY and the events immediately preceding A New Hope to 1 BBY. Therefore, "The Village Bride" must take place between 19 BBY and 1 BBY.
